Personal Strategy Workshop — Post-Election Edition

A blue donkey in red sneakers sits with a hand on its chin, thinking, beside the words What Actually Mattered This Cycle?

What Actually Mattered This Cycle?

The election is over. Before this cycle's intensity gives way to the quiet stretch of winter, take 90 minutes to build a plan for what's next.

What This Is

We'll work through a few tools to map what matters to you going forward, talk about goals and desire for political and advocacy related work, and how that connects to how you spend your day to day.

We'll use a simple framework called the Life Blueprint to map:

  • What MattersWhat actually matters to you, not what you think you should care about.
  • WhyWhy you're doing this work, specifically — not the general-election-year version of the answer.
  • How, DailyHow to live that out day to day.
  • Your RhythmA weekly, daily, and monthly routine map — the actual shape of your time, built around what you just named, not just your calendar.

You'll Leave With

  • Your Post-Election Winter 2026 Life Blueprint — a visual map of your focus areas and how to act those out through the end of the year.
  • Discussion and new connections.
  • Coaching on what the Life Blueprint exercise brings up for you.

I'll ask for two minutes of feedback at the very end. It's the only way this keeps getting sharper each time, and I'd rather ask while you're still in the room than chase it down over email next week.

Joined a personal strategy or life blueprint workshop before? Come again. The base will often be the same — what changes are a new tool layered on top (this time it's the routine map) and the relevancy of what we talk about (like what mattered in this election — August's session didn't cover that). If you built your Blueprint once already, November gives a chance to update it, which I suggest doing routinely.

I'm also building something ongoing for this community. Not ready to say what yet — if that's the kind of thing you'd want to hear about first, this is the room to be in.

The Bridge: Democratic Operative Coaching Cohort

If you've seen posts about The Bridge before and wondered what it actually is: it's an 8-week group coaching cohort for Democratic operatives, running through the GOTV sprint and the couple weeks after. Ninety minutes a week, mostly group coaching — people bring a real obstacle they're navigating, and the group works it together.

The current cohort is underway and runs through November 19. It isn't taking new members right now. Several people in it came out of a Personal Strategy Workshop first, which is part of why this one exists.

Past and future cohorts are built for:

  • State party staff
  • County chairs & local party leaders
  • Coordinated campaign staff
  • Consultants & vendors
  • Candidates
  • Anyone thinking about their next move

I don't have a date set for the next cohort yet. If you want to hear first when one opens, get on the list — it's the same step whether you're brand new to this or you're one of the people who's been following along since the first round.

One workshop. Ninety minutes. Whatever this cycle took out of you, bring it.
