Here's what I've learned over 16 years: political work moves fast. There's always more to do than time allows. You're managing multiple priorities, making decisions under pressure, leading teams through complexity. And somewhere in that juggling act, strategy gets lost, teams get confused, and you lose sight of what you actually wanted to build.
